The situation in Ukraine is really distressing and we at the Kaivo-team were wondering, what we could do in this situation. We wanted to help the refugees arriving to Finland with practical matters, but above all with the recovery and integration process.
On May 5, 2022, we opened our doors to the Ukrainians who fled the war.
At Kaivo we provide a safe environment for encounters, peer support and networking. This is a place where you can share your own experiences, get support, meet others, feel connected and have the possibility to speak your own language. You can spend time tinkering, drinking coffee and eating together with others. We also provide free food and toiletries for those in need.
